The Bouzouki is one of Greece’s most popular national instruments. It’s central to Greek folk music. The bouzouki roots come from several different historical stringed instruments from all around the world but its sound is unique and can be heard today throughout the streets of Greece. It’s known for its long neck, round back, flat fronted wooden body and double stringed fret board.
